π¬ Add a Cabin Air Filter to Your F-150
Many 2009β2014 Ford F-150 trucks and SVT Raptors were not equipped with a cabin air filter from the factory, even though the HVAC housing was designed to accept one.
Without a filter installed, dust, pollen, leaves, and debris can enter the HVAC system through the cowl intake.
Infinity Overland Cabin Air Filter Retrofit Kits allow owners to add a cabin air filter to the factory HVAC housing.
Installing a cabin filter can help reduce debris entering the HVAC system and improve interior air quality.

β Important Installation Notes
- 2009β2012 models require the use of the included block-off panel (simple peel-and-stick installation).

2009β2012 F-150 models have an opening that must be sealed when installing a cabin air filter retrofit. The included foil-clad butyl sealing pad installs directly over this opening using peel-and-stick adhesive backing. The arrow in the image above shows the exact location where the pad is applied.

For best airflow, clean the factory mesh screen behind the ECU before installing the kit. The screen is protected by a plastic dome that catches crap; this plastic dome needs to be removed so you can get down to the screen to clean it.
π‘ Pro Tip from the Shop
Remove the plastic dome behind the ECU (accessible under the hood on the firewall) and clean the factory mesh screen for optimal airflow. The plastic dome can be brittle on older trucks β work carefully, or simply break it out if needed. There is no need to reinstall it after cleaning.
